Eastern musical themes and intense riffing as well as a climax right in the middle of the song will make you love this doom piece of art!
lyrics
Open gates of Babylon,
woe is near trumpets call.
Angels fall from paradise,
death is marching in disguise.
Open gates of Babylon,
woe is near trumpets call.
Mourning sky dream of pain,
legend city turn to grey.
Babylon, Babylon, Angels call.
Babylon, Babylon, Sacred hall.
Babylon, Babylon, Angels fall.
Babylon, Babylon, Golden shore.
Close gates of Babylon,
Alexander will recall.
Shadow flame burning sky,
it shall fade before the night.
Close gates of Babylon,
Alexander will recall.
Queen is starring soon be bride,
see her gardens burning bright.
Babylon, Babylon, Angels call.
Babylon, Babylon, Sacred hall.
Babylon, Babylon, Angels fall.
Babylon, Babylon, Golden shore.

Nice old school doom with a garage feel to the production, not one to set the world alight, but decent enough for me to add to the collection. fattitfitti

The whole album feels like a great concept album with the ending reflecting the beginning and the songwriting being all over the place yet absolutely wholesome and bombastic at times. The whole album evolves towards its grant conclusion with "Madman". Brilliant. "Con"
